We’re different . . .
What Sets Us Apart?
As you might expect, we don’t follow the pack – birds of a different feather, so to speak. Our number one priority and reason for being is to preserve and create wealth for our clients, with an intense focus on reducing risk. We never lose sight of this fact - Ever. This core belief guides everything we do and how we do it.
- We avoid current investment themes, maintaining a logical approach to investing in all market environments.
- Our Investment Strategy and Process have been time tested over many years in the worst market environments (1988, 2000-2003, 2009).
- We systematically search out quality stocks at “sale” prices.
- We know how to determine real shareholder value in contrast to using universally accepted and inaccurate criterion that results in flawed shareholder value readings.
- We use extensive proprietary computer models and screens to select investment prospects, however expert human judgment is the deciding factor in stock selection.
- Our CIO has 34 years investment experience.
- Patience . . . Investment passion is tempered by logic and experience.
